Jules, Stephanie, and Rachel talk over art shows and time-wasters for this year and how to stay more focus and on target.
While we had some pains, we did have lessons learned that will helpfully help you. Here are our tips:
1. Is it a reputable organization. Make sure who you are working with is a reputable company and review its competitors. Julie had a bad experience but the Licensing Expo was a great one.
2. Know your goals. Evaluate what your future looks like to pick the right things to do for you.
3. Evaluate the results. Evaluate anything new you try; and see what works and what doesn't work, then adjust.
4. Focus on 1 thing at a time.

So sorry you had to go through that experience, Jules, but thank you for sharing it. It is refreshing to hear from others out there In the trenches that even the most legit contests/expos/courses don‘t always deliver the value or opportunity they lead you to believe you‘ll get. Having taken a class that you taught, I will say that you DO deliver!! And you always look for ways to add value.
